Since 1983 nearly 400 disabled people have been awarded one of our flying scholarships and this is what a recent scholar wrote about hers:
“The experience was the most emotional, challenging and satisfying in my life so far. For me the scholarship has made my confidence soar. If I now have something to say I will say it. Also it has restored my faith in human beings – I am definitely in a better place for it”.
Every page of this website contains a scholar’s quote; all are thought provoking and reflect the benefits for disabled people learning to fly.
